Give Help
Volunteer
Volunteers are the life blood of foodbanks. Your skills could be just what we need.
Volunteers are the driving force behind foodbanks. There are thousands of volunteers across the UK, helping The Trussell Trust Foodbank Network get emergency food to people in crisis. We want you to enjoy volunteering and there are lots of ways to get involved. Whatever role you choose, you will make a real difference to the life of someone in crisis.
Driver(s)
We are in urgent need of volunteers who can collect food donations and deliver them to the food bank. Currently we need someone who can collect from a supermarket donation point on a weekly basis.
We also need someone who could collect occasionally on an ad hoc basis, as and when necessary.
You would need to have the use of your own vehicle as the foodbank does not own a vehicle, but mileage expenses will be covered by the foodbank. Please note that this can sometimes be quite physically demanding as the food can be heavy so a reasonable degree of physical fitness would be required.
If you are interested in volunteering please get in touch, We’d love to hear from you!
